It's official

we are in the toddler bath! (no more infant sling)

and we are in level 2 diapers.

Avery can hold her head up and sit in the bumbo too!

I can't believe she is growing so fast! Avery is definitely chunkier than Sage was at this age. Gotta love the rolls!!

It's also official that Sage is driving me crazy! A combination of his life being rocked by having a baby sister and just his age, but the whining will NOT stop. The fake crying and the pouting are unstopable. I put him to bed at 6:30 tonight just so I could relax. Love him, but WOW!

Jessica and I thought we could use this pool without actually having to blow up the top ring...didn't work out...but the kids still had fun running and jumping in it

When Avery is outside she is usually like this...

Last Friday we had our cousins come over and my sister, Carly. The McGraws and Ryans parents, brother and sister in law, and Aunt and Uncle came too. We did some swimming first, then grilled out! So much fun!

and then Jessica had a great idea...SMORES!!

A little hot for that...here we are 100 degrees outside and we are sitting around a fire...

Avery is really reaching for things and trying to figure out how to work her arms and legs lately! It is so fun to watch! And she LOVES to watch sage!

3 months

Avery turned three months yesterday, June 6. Some things I don't want to forget
- She is a great sleeper. She drinks her last bottle around 7 and goes down about 8, then doesn't wake up again until around 6 in the morning! Thank you!!

-She eats every 3-4 hours. 6 oz of formula (just offered her 8 for the first time last night and she drank it all!)

- She smiles when you talk to her and even laughs when you do. So cute!

- She has started grabbing at her toys on her car seat

- She loves to watch Sage... and the TV

- Avery is usually happy watching Sage and I play in her nap nanny or boppy pillow

- She is definitely a paci girl. Loves her NUK pacifier

Mimi's birthday

My mom's birhtday was on Friday. We planned a great night for her! She did not want a surprise party, so my cousin Lisa came up with the idea to have a progressive dinner. We started at her house with appetizers, then our house for the main course and my parents house for dessert. All of my mom's favorite foods!

My cousin has four kids, so we had 8 adults and 6 children all night. It was a little crazy but that made it so much fun! I'm going to forget the fact that I had to spank Sage and put him in time out twice, once for biting his cousin (really hard) and once for hitting Avery in the stomach. I think he is just trying to show off for his older cousins, but it needs to STOP.

At my house Carly and I presented my mom with a surprise powerpoint. For the last two months I have collected responses from all of her family and friends I could get a hold of. I asked them to finish this sentence

We also made her a scrapbook with all of the responses.

We got 125 responses and some of them brought us to tears. There was one underlying theme. My Mom is amazing and is loved by so many. She touches the lives of everyone she meets.

Here is what I wrote...

Kim Watson is my role model.

As a woman of faith,

she inspires me to never stop growing in my faith journey.

As a loving daughter,

she models how to always respect and love your parents.

As a supportive wife,

she shows how to stand by your husband and learn from each other.

The next morning the kids played on my moms new playground and trampoline she got for her birthday!

My Mom did get something besides a playground from my Dad. A new car! Red BMW hard top convertible! Very pretty. I'll get some pictures soon.

And Swim time! Avery's first time in a bathing suit! She got in the water for about 45 seconds.
