So much fun at the Oil Ranch with some great friends!

Right after these next two pictures we got a big scare.
We were in the petting zoo part of the ranch and this ram bucked another kid in the back. The kid was walking away and the ram ran at him with his head down and bucked him in the back with his horns. He flew to the ground crying. All the parents ran for their kids and we got out of their as fast as we could. Ryan went and told some workers and they got the ram out immediately It really scared me. If it would have been Avery she would have been hurt really bad. At least the boy that got hit was a little older and bigger and he didn't get hurt that bad.

After the Oil Ranch we headed just across the street to Houston Oaks for lunch and a bit of golf. Jean took the kids after lunch so Ryan and I stayed and played some golf then got a date night! Thanks JEAN!

What a great way to start the Fall Season!
I’m glad your kids weren’t hurt by the ram, and that you were keen on attending to them. Kids really need supervision when around animals. They can get too caught up seeing all the animals, which are unpredictable creatures. All in all, though, I think the experience you’ve had was great! :D -->Rodger Ciliberto
ReplyDeletePUMPKIN INVASION! It seems that you guys are enjoying yourselves very much. Where’s that ranch located? We also have a ranch that we inherited from my grandparents. My dad continued our family business and he insisted on me helping him out. Right now, I’m getting used to it. The ranch lifestyle is really adventurous!
