Not too bad huh?!?! I decided that Sage, Avery and I would go straight to Ryan's parents house from the airport. This is the kids home away from home. They sleep so well there and I knew I could get some extra sleep with Jean and Dave's help! And we love spending time up there!! I'm so blessed to have In-laws that i LOVE and that I can spend time with even when Ryan isn't there.
Friday afternoon Jessica and her boys came up and then Ryan and Danny came up after work. Jessica Danny Colt and Lane are like family to us and we love seeing the boys and Avery grow up together. And after the kids go to bed we have fun playing board games with Ryans parents.
Saturday the Smiths came up! Sage loves his cousins and couldn't get enough of them in Colorado. And Avery has really gotten close with them as well. She loves to sing patty cake patty cake with Payton, push Carson around and do "round ball round ball" (a finger play game our grandpa taught us) with Lisa. We all had a great time even though Sage knocked Sophie in the head with the pool thermometer and it looked REALLY bad.
The McGraws spent the night Saturday night too and then we all headed home Sunday.
Lots of fun, food and friends. Thanks Jean and Dave!
