COLORADO Part 2

My parents watched the kids while we got some adult ski time in!

Beaver Creek
We decided to take all the kids up the Gondola at Beaver Creek to the kid section of the slopes. Magic carpets take the kids up the hill a bit where they can ski down on a pretty flat surface. Sage got frustrated when he couldn't get it, but he liked to ski between my skis! He kept asking Ryan to teach him how to use the skateboard. (Ryan is a snow boarder) After some pouting and refusing to ski by Sage and crying (I thought there was a restaurant up there, it was a ski school...no milk for Avery) we got back into the car and sage said "I want to try again!" At least he hasn't given up yet!
It was exhausting for only about 20 minutes of ski time, but worth it since he wanted to try again!

COLORADO Part 1

I went to Colorado this week to ski for the first time in over three years! I had not been skiing since before I got pregnant with Sage. I forgot how much I love to ski. Yes, its true I do not like to be cold, but that is whats great about spring skiing. Its not THAT cold.

More exciting than me skiing is SAGE skiing!! We got him on skis for the first time!

We stayed at my parents house in Edwards, Colorado with my sister and Jason and their 4 month old Tatum, their friends Trent and Jerry, and our friends Jennifer and Brad Flack with their son Bennett. Of course my parents were there too! We all had such a great time together and I can't wait for next year to get back on the slopes!!
