Not so Happy

Halloween 2012

Sage is sick but we tried to make it out for a bit.  They only lasted three houses before they wanted to be held and go home.  Anything remotely scary they wanted nothing to do with.

We got a few pictures despite the not so Happy Halloween. 

Maybe next year will be better.

  Just for the record thats really three failed Halloweens in a row.

  I guess our kids are not Halloween ready yet.

 

This is how the day started.  Sage falling asleep on the way to drop Avery off at MDO.  He was miserable and tired from his cough medicine.

Had a smoothie to make his throat feel better while we shopped.

(This is the ONLY thing he ate ALL day.  He didnt even eat one piece of candy!

 

THen Ryan met me at the Tire store (I had to get 4 new tires, UHG!) and took the kids home while I waited and waited and waited. Ryan got all the way home and realized he didn't have his house key.  I stopped to pick up dinner on the way home while Ryan was dealing with this...

 

we had to wake him up at 6 to trick or treat. (should have just him slept)

The first 5 minutes we were outside went well...

 

THen they both wanted to be held and would only trick or treat if we went to find Emily and Luke.

Sage was begging to go home. 

Avery insisted on being held.

So we went home.

Fall Festival 2012

We took the kids to their school's Fall Festival last night.  My parents were able to come and the McGraws were there too. (Jessicas brother and sister and parents were there too!) Fun times! 10 adults, 3 trick or treaters and 1 baby!

Our Dallas Weekend!

We had an amazing weekend with one of my best friends, Stevie, and her husband Colin in Dallas.  We have been friends since longer than we can remember and we are once again as close as we were at 5 years old!  I love that we can tell eachother anything, share clothes, and just sit and talk for hours.  And its an extra bonus that are husbands get along so well!  We just wished we live closer!  Stevie, it was great spending the weekend with you and Colin and hanging with Aiden for a bit. Colin, your pizza was amazing, the late night game playing was so much fun, and we LOVED being able to just relax!   I can't wait till we can get together again! Maybe in Cabo!

In order to go to Dallas WITHOUT kids we needed someone to take the kids ALL weekend.  Actually,  Dave and Jean (Ryans Parents) offered to take the kids for two nights in a row so we could plan something.  And we quickly scheduled our trip to the McCartneys!

Bubbles, Chalks and frogs

Just another day at the DesAutels house. 

This was last week, just trying to catch up!

 

Sage saw our neighbor down the street outside and we had to go check out what her and her parents were doing outside so late. (well, 7:30)

Rylan was catching frogs!  Sage had to help! Of course he didn't want to hold the frog like Rylan but he liked to hold the container.

The kids LOVE to be outside and the weather has been great!

Texans Fun

We were able to invite the McGraws to the Texans game this past weekend! We had a great time.  I just love watching the kids have so much fun together!  Except when Sage and Colt are wrestling, playing in the bathroom, or trying to run out of the suite.  But hey they are the easy ones.  Its Avery and Lane that just want to walk up and down the stairs and eat everything that falls on the floor.  Not to mention the game was smack dab in the middle of their nap time.  All in all, we still had fun!
