SIDE NOTE
Our trip home was HORRIBLE!! Our Continental flight to IAH was four hours delayed so we decided to get a southwest flight to Hobby and stay at my parents. Our bags stayed on the continental flgiht . Well the flight was fine, Sage slept. Untill the end...The pilot came on and said we had to land in San Antonio because of fog in Houston. Well as we landed sick Sage woke up and cried so hard, wouldn't stop. He then started choking and threw up all over me. He was so congested! Then I started to cry. We got off the plane finally and were told our flight would take off at 7:30am (it was 2am) we decided to rent a car and drive. Sage finally calmed down...untill we got to a gas station to fill up on caffiene to stay awake and drive home. He started crying again and would not stop. We had to pull over on the side of I-10 and I had to walk with him by the car at 4am in the morning! He was inconsolable. Ryan, my mom and I couldn't do anything to get him to stop. It was so sad. I felt so bad for him.. He was miserable!! Scary. He didn't stop crying until we turned on a dvd on my computer and he was in my arms. He finally fell back asleep for the rest of the trip. We got home at 6am.

ReplyDeleteKeri, I had a trip like that one time...I was travelling with Barry when he was a baby & I was alone...we were flying to Des Moines from Houston and got delayed...got in at 4:30 a.m....don't remember him getting sick, but I do remember me being a wreck & him being extremely WET cuz since he was antsy on the plane, & so I kept feeding him bottles! Sorry you had to go through that, but thankfully you had Ryan and your mom along..hope Sage is ALL BETTER now!
